Hello! my name is Luisa Betancourt Weinstein, welcome to Nihao my amigos!
NIHAO MY AMIGOS was originally conceived as a tool to support our family’s efforts to help our son Max develop language skills in each of the four languages we have used with him since he was born. This idea then turned into a dream of helping any child, any parent, or any adult that wanted to start learning a new language completely free. It is my hope that by helping children build language bridges, I will be teaching them about inclusion, kindness, and tolerance. I just believe in making the world a kinder place, and I truly believe this can be done by helping people overcome language barriers and learn to communicate with each other. These videos are being created for whoever wants to watch them and learn different languages, but please note that I am not a teacher, speech pathologist, or other type of educational or language professional. I do not have a teaching background nor any type of certifications for teaching different languages. Thus, I cannot guarantee that everyone will agree that every single word taught in these videos will have been written or pronounced correctly. However, I believe I have worked hard and consulted multiple sources, and will continue to do so, to ensure the accuracy and correctness of the content that goes into each video. Enjoy!
